Nelson Antonio Zeceña and Rubén Issac Sánchez, students of Mechatronics; and Javier Eduardo Chacón from Mechanics (Industrial Maintenance option) represented ITCA FEPADE and El Salvador in the Mechatronics and Welding competitions respectively in the framework of World Skills Americas held in Brazil in February 2019, obtaining the following awards in two categories: 3rd place in “Mechatronics” and as “Best Country”.
Student of Logistics and Customs Engineering La Unión headquarters, Yimi Josael Sorto Guevara, participated in the exchange experience as part of the Leadership Course through the SUSI program sponsored by the American Embassy in El Salvador. This exchange took place in various universities in the United States for a period of 5 weeks, during the months of July and August 2019.
Student of Electrical Engineering Technician Dina Batres Aguilar was awarded a scholarship from the UGRAD Program sponsored by the American Embassy. The scholarship consists of a full semester from September 2019 to May 2020 at the Minnesota State University of Mankato in United States.
